Joan Latrell Oestreich, 81, of Llano died March 5, 2017
Joan Latrell Oestreich passed away March 5, 2017, in Round Rock, Texas, at the age of 81. She was born June 6, 1935, in San Saba, Texas, to James Hilton and Josie (Allen) Key.
Joan was a lifetime resident of Llano and attended First Baptist Church of Llano.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, James Hilton Key and Josie Key; son, Gary Lynn Oestreich; sisters, Imagene Cook and Ada Ruth Mallett; brother, Thomas Key Franklin; and great-grandson, John Xavier Myers.
She is survived by her son, Tommy Oestreich of Llano; daughters, Naomi Adams and Wanda James and husband Donald, all of Llano; sister, Joyce Staats of Llano; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. March 8 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300. A funeral service is 9 a.m. March 9 at the funeral home with the Rev. Rick Cundieff officiating. Interment will follow at Tow cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Lukens, John Paul Meyers, Christopher James Adams, Cory Ray Adams, Paul Weller, and Justin James. Honorary pallbearers will be Edwin Staats, Patrick Bennett, and Sean Bennett.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Llano Food Pantry.
