Patricia Gayle McCampbell, 70, of Kingsland died July 27, 2016

Patricia Gayle McCampbell, 70, of Kingsland, Texas, passed away July 27, 2016. She was born to Thomas B. and Nannie Bell (Canon) Sowell on Oct. 17, 1945, in Brownwood, Texas.

Pat was in the insurance business for more than 30 years, was a member of Highland Lakes Methodist Church in Buchanan Dam and enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Loren E. of Kingsland; sons, Chris McCampbell of Bedford and Wally McCampbell and wife Christy of San Antonio; five grandchildren; and brothers, Tom B. Sowell and wife Nancy of Victoria and David B. Sowell and wife Linda of Seguin. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service is 11 a.m. Aug. 2 at Putnam Funeral Home, 145 Texas Ave. in Kingsland, (325) 388-0008, with the Rev. Jenny Tucker officiating.
