Ithro Jeanette Lastique, 77, of Burnet died Aug. 2, 2016

Ithro Jeanette Lastique passed away Aug. 2, 2016. She was a daughter of Charlie and Libby (Hill) Jordan, born in Farmville, Virginia, on July 11, 1939. 

Ithro had proudly served in the U.S. National Guard, attaining the rank of major at the time of her discharge. She had also been employed as a registered nurse and, after her retirement, worked in the Burnet County prison system.

Ithro attended Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Burnet.

She is survived by her mother, Libby Jordan of Virginia; sisters, Phyllis McKinney and Lillian Johnson, both of Virginia; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Aug. 6 at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 507 Buchanan Drive in Burnet.
