Melvin Dewayne Hill, 70, of Kingsland died July 1, 2016

Melvin Dewayne Hill, 70, of Kingsland, Texas, passed away July 1, 2016. He was born to Melvin Bryant and Dorothy Lou (Sherry) Hill on March 24, 1946, in Gonzales, Texas.

Dewayne was an avid Texas history buff and enjoyed collecting arrowheads and antiques and tending to his plants.

He is survived by his son, Travis Hill, and daughters, Alicia Hill and Melissa Gillian, all of Austin; sister Sherry Hill of Seguin; and brother Gary Hill of Gainsville.

A service will be at Thompsonville Community Church in Thompsonville.
