Alma Kathleen McCue, 93, died July 1, 2016

Alma Kathleen McCue led a full and wonderful life and died peacefully at home at age 93 on July 1, 2016.

She will be hugely missed by her daughters, Kathleen McCue, Marjorie Masterson and Deborah Hussemann; grandsons, David Seal and Tyler Hussemann; and by sons-in-law, Dennis Masterson and Rick Hussemann.

Alma was the quintessential Navy wife, following her husband Capt. H.F. “Mac” McCue, USN, Ret., from country to country; making a home, raising her children and supporting Mac. After Mac’s death in 1999, she moved to Llano to live with daughter Marjorie.

Alma loved the peace and friendliness of the Llano community and countryside. She was a quiet person and enjoyed her friends, her church activities, sewing and reading. Alma continued her zest for life by traveling the world with her three daughters.

A private service will be held for the family in Florida.

In lieu of flowers, make a donation to Hill Country Memorial Hospice in Fredericksburg. Alma’s family is very grateful for their service and compassion.
