Myrna Beth Widener

Myrna Beth Widener, 76, of Kingsland, Texas, passed away April 18, 2016. She was born to Frank and Polly (Oden) Webb on July 9, 1939, in Matador, Texas.

Ms. Widener was a retired bookkeeper and member of First Baptist Church of Sunrise Beach. She loved doing puzzles and watching her favorite TV shows. She loved her animals, but, most of all, she loved her children and grandchildren.

Myrna is survived by her children Cristy Knapp and husband Greg of Sunrise Beach and Danny Widener and wife Gail of Burnet; sisters Helen Terrell-Smith and Freda Johnson; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy; her parents; son James; and granddaughter Darlene Jackson.

A memorial service is 2 p.m.April 25 at Putnam Funeral Home, 145 Texas Ave. in Kingsland, (325) 388-0008, with Jonathan Juedes officiating.
