Norma Villarreal, 52, of Burnet died March 5, 2016

Norma Villarreal, 52, of Burnet, Texas, passed away March 5, 2016. She was a daughter of Ignacio and Julia (Garcia) Ponce, born in Ciudad, Acuna, Mexico, on March 29, 1963.

Norma was a minister at at Mission de Christo Jesus Church in Burnet along with her husband, Ramiro. She loved to attend church services.

She had been employed for about 16 years as a seamstress at Texas Spa Covers.

She is survived by her husband, Ramiro of Burnet; daughter, Veronica Villarreal of Burnet; five brothers; two sisters; and nieces and nephews in Texas and Mexico.

Visitation is 10 a.m.-8 p.m. March 7 with a wake from 6-8 p.m. at Edgar & Jenkins Family Funeral Home, 109 N. Main St. in Burnet, (512) 756-4444. A funeral service is 10 a.m. March 8 at Mission de Christo Jesus Church, 901 E. Marble St. in Burnet. Burial will follow at Post Mountain Cemetery in Burnet.
