Commissioner Jones is proud of the good financial condition of the county, which has one of the lowest county property tax rates in the state.

Party affiliation: Republican

What do you wish to accomplish?

Commissioner Jones stated that much has been accomplished in the county during his first term but much more remains to be done to continue to improve Llano County operations while keeping costs under control and maintaining a low county property tax rate. He says, “I have been honored to serve the citizens of Llano County and wish to continue to apply my extensive financial and management skills for the betterment of Llano County.”

Why are you the most qualified candidate?

I am the incumbent county commissioner for Precinct 1 and have applied my extensive financial and management experience to improve Llano County operations and reduce costs. I will continue to use this experience and knowledge to help guide the county to remain financially strong while keeping property tax rates as low as possible and continuing to provide the services required by our county citizens.
