Nellie Lou Jones, 91, passed away Feb. 5, 2016. A funeral service is 10 a.m. Feb. 9 at Edgar & Jenkins Family Funeral Home, 109 N. Main St. in Burnet, (512) 756-4444. Interment will be at Oatmeal Cemetery immediately following the service.
Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, Troy D. Watson; second husband, R.L. Jones; daughter, Shirley Vaughan; son Jack Watson; sister Vida Hayden Patton; and brother Virgil Hayden.
She is survived by her sons Alva Watson and wife Eva and James Watson; grandchildren, Lynnet Rodriguez, Troy Watson, Thomas Watson, April Rock, Dawn Vaughan, Robert Watson, Greg Watson, Jonathan Watson, Blake Watson, Justin Watson, Janice Watson and Jennifer Watson; along with numerous great-grandchildren.
