Maria Mercedes Halliburton, 68, of Burleson died Jan. 12, 2016
Maria Mercedes Halliburton was 68 and lived in Burleson, Texas. She passed away Jan. 12, 2016, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born Nov. 5, 1947 in Los Angeles to proud parents William and Anita Rodriguez.
Maria married Richard Halliburton on July 6, 1969 in Hacienda Heights, California. She attended the University of California-Los Angeles and worked as a registration technician for the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Maria is survived by her husband, Richard Halliburton; sons, Richard and Jason
Halliburton; daughter, AnnMarie and husband Chip Rotan; mother, Anita Rodriguez; brother, William Rodriguez and wife Cindy Rodriguez; and nephews William Rodriguez and John Rodriguez. The grandchildren who brought her so much joy are Michael Rotan, Richard Halliburton III, Zachary Halliburton, Belle Rotan and Alyssa Halliburton.
She loved life and loved her family even more. She will be greatly missed.
A memorial service is 6-8 p.m. Jan. 15 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300. A funeral service is 1 p.m. Jan. 16 at the funeral home with the Rev. Melvin Dornak officiating. Burial will follow at Llano City Cemetery.
Pallbearers are William Rodriguez, John Rodriguez, Chip Rotan, Michael Rotan, Richard Halliburton and Zachary Halliburton.
