Wanda Sue Pash, 93, of Highland Haven, Texas, passed away Dec. 25, 2015. She was born to Joe Berry and Ruth Marie (Rhodes) Holt on Nov. 23, 1922, in Ralls County, Missouri.

Sue was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Granite Shoals. As a leader in Girl Scouting, PTA and church activities, she offered many hours of service. Sue was active in the Pan Am Pilot’s Wives Clipper Club and a bridge club. She enjoyed traveling, reading and good conversation.

Sue lived her life as a loving wife, mother and friend. Her faith in God carried her through this life as a joyful, loving and kind woman. She was the “Best Mother on Earth.”

She is survived by her daughters, Debra Boldt and husband Chris of Jefferson City, Missouri, and Susan Zserdin and husband Joe of Austin; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William, whom she married on Sept. 8, 1945; grandsons Taylor Pash Boldt and Joseph Oliver Boldt; and brother, Joseph Taylor Holt.

The family invites friends to an open house at Sue’s home in Texas from 2-4 p.m. Jan. 1, 2016, to celebrate her life.

A graveside service is 2 p.m. Jan. 5, 2016, at Barkley Cemetery in New London, Missouri.
