Dave was a mechanic his whole life except for a few years after he had heart surgery when he worked in Burnet as a jailer and then as a security guard. Then he went back to mechanic work. He probably turned wrenches from the time he could hold one right up until a few hours before he passed when he asked his wife to go find a wrench. He will be so greatly missed by his family, friends and his pets.
