James “Jim” Anthony Woolley passed away peacefully at his home on Dec. 2, 2015, surrounded by his family. Jim was born Dec. 3, 1943, in Canton, Ohio, to Herman F. and Marie Deringer Woolley, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Kirick; children, Jeff (Lee) Woolley, Monique Woolley and Mindy Woolley’ grandchildren, Emilee, Elliot, Elizabeth and Ryder; siblings, Donald Woolley and Faye Webb; and his beloved dog, Blu.

A retiree of 3M, Jim enjoyed fishing, motorcycling and photography. He was actively involved in his community, volunteered as a business mentor with SCORE and was an auxiliary member of the Briggs Volunteer Fire Department.

Jim was one of a kind, loved by many and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service is 3 p.m. Dec. 6 at Clement-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 Texas 29 East in Burnet, (512) 756-2222. Instead of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Briggs Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 7, Briggs, TX 78608.
