In loving memory of Virgie Nell Herridge, 73.

Nell was born July 3, 1942, and went to join her Lord and Savior on Nov. 21, 2015.

In 1958, she married Arnold Herridge and had four beautiful children: Roger, Carl, Nelda and Glenda. Nell pursued a career in nursing and spent 46 years as an licensed vocational nurse, serving the Llano, Odessa and Kerrville areas.

Nell was a loving mother, sister and wife. She enjoyed cooking, camping, fishing, hunting and family vacations.

She is survived by sons, Roger Herridge and wife Rhonda of Llano and Carl Herridge and wife Kathy of Keller; daughters, Nelda Sieber of Roanoke and Glenda Bowen of Cuero; niece Jackie Faircloth of Llano; nephews Eugene, Ricky and Rusty Long, all of Llano; grandchildren, Jimmie Hill of Llano, Jefforey Herridge of Llano, Ross and Jennifer Herridge of San Angelo, Lucretia and Bill Wise of Austin, J.D. and Brianna Herridge of Katy, Terry Rader of Roanoke, Bobby Rader of Austin, Joshua Conley of Llano and Kimberlee and Thomas of Lubbock.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Edith Kuhn; her husband of 57 years, Arnold; sister, Lillie Long Bailey; Lillie’s brother Thomas Connors; and nephew Robert Long.

Pallbearers are Eugene Long, Joshua Conley, Jefforey Herridge, Mike Steelman, Mike Goetz, Russell Long and Billy Christopher. Honorary pallbearers are Doc Sutton and Billy Christopher.

The family suggests donations be made to the Llano Christmas park, the Llano Cowboy Church or the Llano Food Pantry.

A service is 10 a.m. Nov. 25 at the Llano Cowboy Church with the Rev. Stacey Nobles officiating. Burial will be at the Broad Branch Cemetery in Lone Grove.
