Jerry Dwight Floyd, 71, passed away at his home in his sleep on Nov. 14, 2015. He was born to L.E. “Tobb” Sr. and Eva Lorene (Martin) Floyd on Nov. 4, 1944, in Burnet.

Jerry worked in construction with concrete for more than 50 years. He was a kind, loving man with a mischievous smile who loved his family and would give his last dime if you needed it.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Floyd; children, Sherrell, J.R. and Shawn and their families including five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister Judy Jackson and family; brother L.E. Floyd Jr. and family; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews who all loved him dearly and cherish his memory as we all do.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, brother Rayford Floyd and sister Betty Wall.

A celebration of his life is 2 p.m. Nov. 21 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 408 N. Ave. R in Marble Falls. Everyone is welcome, and please do share a favorite memory at the service. The family requests that any donations be made to assist with the funeral expenses.
