Laura Lee George, 57, of Castell died Oct. 28, 2015
Laura Lee Henderson-George passed away unexpectedly at home Oct. 28, 2015, at the age of 57.
Laura Lee is survived by her husband, Bill George of Castell; mother, Carolyn Nelson of San Antonio; father and stepmother, Mr. William and Dr. Edna Henderson of Denver; sons, Christopher Conrad of Uvalde and Brad Henderson of San Antonio; and brother, Keller Henderson of San Antonio.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Nina Henderson.
Laura Lee was born April 9, 1958, in Denver to Carolyn Nelson and William Henderson. She married Bill George in July 2013.
Laura Lee enjoyed spending her time as a dedicated volunteer at the Mason Food Bank and Mason Community Kitchen. She was recently confirmed at St. Martin’s Episcopal Worshiping Community in Mason.
A funeral service is 2 p.m. Nov. 4 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300. A reception will follow at Grace Episcopal Church in Llano. Mary Margaret Mueller will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Laura Lee’s life.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be donated to the Mason Food Bank.
