Marie McCullough, 91, of Kingsland died Oct. 23, 2015
Marie McCullough, 91, of Kingsland, Texas, died Oct. 23, 2015. She was born to Claude H. and Estha (Webb) Womack on May 5, 1924, in Colorado City, Texas.
Marie was a longtime member of Kingsland Community Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. She was also a member of the Klunkers Band that would visit nursing homes and assisted-living facilities. She loved her music and did a lot of volunteer work.
Marie was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Halbrook and husband Dick of Kingsland; granddaughters, Misti Conrad and husband Patrick of Corpus Christi and Wendy Schoppe and husband Kurt of The Woodlands; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and brother Robert Joe Womack and wife Marjorie of Dallas.
Marie was preceded in death by husband, James T. McCullough; sister, Helen Jenkins; and brothers Claude Howard WomackJr. and Glenn Womack.
A memorial service is 11 a.m. Oct. 28 at Kingsland Community Church, 1136 RR 1431 in Kingsland.
