Betty Jean Sylvester, 84, of Granite Shoals died Oct. 26, 2015. She was born in San Antonio to to Estelle and Harry Hall.
On June 16, 1947, she married the love of her life, Robert T. Sylvester, who passed away on March 13, 2014.
In 1982, Betty and Robert moved to Granite Shoals, Texas.
She was a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas.
Betty has two children, Nancy Sylvester and Barry Sylvester (Liza), and two grandchildren, Cameron and Kaycee Sylvester, who also live in Granite Shoals. She has one sister, Dorothy Lease, who lives in Worthington, Minnesota, and one brother, Allen Hall, who lives in Arlington.
A memorial service is 2 p.m. Nov. 7 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-4373.
The family requests, if you so desire, that memorials be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 4007 Valley View Lane, Granite Shoals, TX 786554.
