Harvey B. Spinks Jr., 71, of Llano died July 15, 2015
Harvey B. Spinks Jr. passed away July 15, 2015. He was born June 6, 1944, to Harvey B. Spinks Sr. and Marjorie Crow in San Antonio.
Harvey married Janice Neves 33 years ago. They moved to Llano from San Antonio in 1987.
He went into the Army Reserves after high school and then worked in the freight business for more than 20 years, retiring from Ben E. Keith in 2010.
His hobbies included riding motorcycles, yard work, being outside, spending time with his grandkids, horseback riding, sight-seeing and taking the long way around.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by one son, David and wife Vicki of Kerrville; two daughters, Sherri Rials and husband Cecil of Las Cruces, New Mexico, and Carolann Lawson and husband Teddy of Leander; grandchildren, Taylor, Madison and Elena Spinks, Blake and Riley Lawson and Parker Rials; pets, Kitty and Suzi; close family and cousins, LaDon Tinsley, Tommy Tinsley, James and Brenda Tinsley, Pam and Bob Duffy and Ann and Jessie Scott.
A graveside service is 2 p.m. July 19 at Llano City Cemetery with the Rev. Stacy Nobles officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christ-Yoder Animal Shelter.
