Christine A. Evans, 98, of Granite Shoals died June 16, 2015
Christine A. (Mieir) (Kniff) Evans passed away peacefully surrounded by her family June 16, 2015, at the age 98. She was born in Portland, Oregon, on July 19, 1916, to Charles F. and Sybel Brooks Mieir.
Christine is survived by her husband, Arlee Evans; sons, Brian Kniff, Barry Kniff (Judi) and Lee Evans; grandchildren, Brad Kniff (Stacey), Juli Martinez (Paul), Kristi Lane (Brad), Jarrod Kniff, Tim Kniff, Michael Evans (Nikki) and Jennifer Kniff; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Sybel, Frances, Charles and Luther, and also by August Kniff and Kathleen Evans.
The family would like to express its appreciation to the Arbor House family for the care given to “Chris” for the past few years.
A memorial service is noon July 11 at First Baptist Church of Granite Shoals.
