Burnet moves free showing of ‘Box Trolls’ indoors due to weather

BURNET — City officials have moved the screening of “The Box Trolls” on May 15 to the YMCA of the Highland Lakes at Galloway-Hammond.
The animated film is part of the city’s family friendly Movies in the Park series at the Haley Nelson Park amphitheater. Because of the weather, the movie will be shown inside the YMCA, 1601 S. Water (U.S. 281).
It starts at 8 p.m. Admission is free.
“The Box Trolls” was nominated for an Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film. It is about trash-collecting creatures raising an orphaned boy who comes up with a plan to save the cave-dwelling beings.
The next movie in the summer series is “Maleficent” on June 19.
