MaryAnn Kathleen Brogan, 75, of Sunrise Beach died May 11, 2015
MaryAnn Kathleen Brogan was born Sept. 29, 1939, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, to Edward and Hazel Brogan. She passed away May 11, 2015, at the age of 75.
MaryAnn lived a full and rewarding life. She attended nursing school at St. Edward’s Episcopal Nursing School before enlisting in the Army. She served in Germany, Vietnam and many bases in the United States as an operating room supervisor. After 20 years, she retired to Sunrise Beach, Texas.
In Sunrise Beach, she continued to serve her community as a member of the Sunrise Beach Volunteer Fire Department, the Ladies Axillary, a Sunrise Beach first responder, the Granite Shoals Volunteer Fire and EMS Department, the Marble Falls Area EMS and the Hoover Valley Volunteer Fire Department and Emergency Services.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father. She leaves behind many close personal friends, and her family would like to thank Jim and Martha McCutchen for being kind and caring neighbors.
