Willie Dale Bridgeman of Burnet, a lifelong cowboy born Dec. 11, 1944, in Kress, went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2015, with his children by his side. He was 70 years of age.

For most of his life, he lived and worked in Lubbock and the Panhandle. He was a resident of Burnet since 1989.

He was preceded in death by parents, A.T. and Willie LaVena Weaver Bridgeman; siblings Gordon Bridgeman and Judy George; loving wife, Judy Kay Bridgeman; and first wife, Vicki Chambers.

Survivors include children, Charles Dale “Rowdy” Bridgeman and wife Katherine, Rhona Lee Bridgeman, Jeremy Paul Martin, Willie Ray “Pistol)” Bridgeman and wife Jamie, Cal Martin and Amber Leigh Bridgeman. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and other relatives.   

A graveside service is May 10 at Bunavista Cemetery near Borger.
