Spicewood author explores God’s creation in children’s book

SPICEWOOD — Local author Deborah B. Meyer has just released a new children’s book, “Meet the Brazos Boys.”
In “Meet the Brazos Boys,” the Spicewood resident shares the little, yet entertaining, adventures of a grandfather and his grandsons. When the boys visit their grandfather on his Texas ranch, he takes them through his daily work and adventures. In the story, they share tears and laughter as they discover God’s creation.

Meyer, who holds several degrees from Baylor University, has been involved in Christian education for 30 years. In 2007, the wife, mother and grandmother founded the Daughters of Truth ministry, which aims to empower girls and women of all ages to embrace and apply God’s word in their lives and relationships.
