Earl Manan McAnally, 97, died Feb. 13, 2015
Earl Manan McAnally passed away Feb. 13, 2015. He was born Feb. 1, 1918, in Bethel to Ephram and Flora Hill McAnally.
He is survived by son, James McAnally and wife Sherry of Cow Creek; daughter JoAnn Snow and husband Norman of Oatmeal; grandchildren, Henry Snow, Lori Ringstaff and husband B, Shawn Watts and wife Thais, Doug Watts and wife Lucie, and Randy McAnally; great-grandchildren, Hope Watts and Cash and Cade Ringstaff; great-great-grandson, Li Huynh; brothers George McAnally and John McAnally; sisters, Leona Hodson, Myrtle Fayle Robertson and Pearl McKinnon; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Lucille McAnally; parents, Ephram and Flora Hill McAnally; and brother Robert McAnally.
Earl was a World War II veteran, serving as a medic in the Army Air Corp. When he returned from the war, he was a carpenter and a rancher and belonged to the Carpenters Union for 59 years.
Pealbearers are Henry Snow, Shawn Watts, Doug Watts, Randy McAnally, B Ringstaff, Cash Ringstaff, Cade Ringstaff, Rick McAnally and Jimmy Chambers.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Feb. 17 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 Texas 29 East in Burnet, (512) 756-2222. A funeral service is 2 p.m. Feb. 18 at the funeral home with interment following at Smithwick Cemetery.
