Henry C. Hartman, 88, of Burnet died Jan. 15, 2015

Henry C. Hartman, 88, passed away at his home on Jan. 15, 2015. He was born July 16, 1926, in Taylor, Texas, to Aloysius Peter Hartman and Anna Alma Zellmer Hartman.

Henry proudly served his country in World War II. He later moved to Burnet and lived in the Burnet Housing Authority until his death. Henry was very active and loved to ride his bikes on long distances daily. He was a member of Galloway-Hammond, later the YMCA, and loved to exercise and stay healthy. He will be missed by many and all at Hamilton Creek Manor.

He was preceded in death by his parents and longtime special friend, Rose Long.

A memorial gathering in Henry’s honor is 2 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Burnet Housing Authority Community Center at 805 S. Water in Burnet.
