Fundraiser helps Marble Falls Area EMS volunteer

The Marble Falls Area Volunteer Fire Department and Pizza Hut in Marble Falls held a fundraiser Jan. 29 to help Marble Falls Area EMS volunteer Robert Randle. The restaurant donated 20 percent of purchases during the event to Randle to help pay for funeral expenses for his 24-year-old brother, Bryan Lee Randle, who died Jan. 18 in a one-car accident in Austin. His funeral was Jan. 22. VFD Assistant Chief George Tennison had a simple explanation for why so many of the area’s emergency personnel volunteered to bus tables, seat diners and even refill drinks during the fundraiser: ‘We take care of our own,’ he said.
