LLANO — Learn to prepare easy, inexpensive and healthy meals with the Dinner Tonight Healthy Cooking School on Jan. 29.

The class, presented by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, is 6-8 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, 1401 Ford St.

The program is designed to help busy families enjoy healthy and delicious meals that are cost-effective and simple to cook. The school features cooking demonstrations, food samples, fitness tips, food vendors, door prizes and more.

Each participant will receive a registration bag of goodies, including a 52-page Dinner Tonight cookbook with 10 meal plans.

The event is free for employees of the Llano Independent School District, Scott & White and Buttery Hardware who are on the Scott & White Health Plan. Cost for non-health plan members is $10 at the door.
