BURNET — Several Burnet High School football players were chosen for all-District 13-4A Division I teams, and two received some of the highest honors by coaches.

Junior quarterback Austin Moore is the district’s Most Valuable Player, while senior linebacker Kody Hall is the district’s Defensive Most Valuable Player.

Hall won the same award in 2013.

“We are extremely proud of our young men and their accomplishments,” head coach Kurt Jones said. “This was a fantastic group of seniors, and we will miss them all tremendously.”
