Joyce La Nell Wimberly Wright, 75, of Marble Falls dies Oct. 9, 2014

Joyce La Nell Wimberly Wright went to our Lord on Oct. 9, 2014. Joyce was the daughter of Babe and Mary Belle (Jackson) Wimberly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Don Wright; grandson Jaramie Don Daniels; and sister Wanda Monette “Midge” Wimberly.

She is survived by five children, Clifford Ray Wright of Austin and Donna Louise Wright, Jerry Don Wright Jr., William Terry Wright and Kelli Rebecca Wright, all of Granite Shoals; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five siblings Ruby Wimberly Van Baskirk Mitchell, Mary Ann Wimberly Nelson, Vivian “Missy” Wimberly Nelson, Evelyn “Dunk” Wimberly Smith and Charles “Bud” Wimberly.

Joyce was born in Austin at Brackenridge Hospital on Oct. 4, 1939. She lived most of her life in Marble Falls, where she was a much-loved bus driver for the school district for about 25 years. Each Friday, Joyce would give “her babies” Double Bubble chewing gum.

Her greatest love was her family and friends.

A graveside service was Oct. 12 at Marble Falls Cemetery.
