MARBLE FALLS — The Marble Falls High School volleyball team lost to Dripping Springs 21-25, 11-25, 10-25 on Sept. 26.

Head coach Julie Downs said the Lady Mustangs played well in the opening set of the District 25-5A contest.

“The Mustangs performed exceedingly well,” she said. “However, the Mustangs were unable to maintain their momentum and allowed the Tigers to run the show.”

ON OFFENSE: Kills – Lauren Loader 7, Taylor Brackenridge 4, Hanna Wall 3, Baylee Adams 3, Jackie Winn 3; assists – Kelsie Tackitt 8, Maddie Johnson 8; aces – Hanna Wall 2, Kelsie Tackitt 1, Maddie Johnson 1

ON DEFENSE: Digs – Hanna Wall 3, Taylor Brackenridge 3, Lauren Loader 3, Shelcee Clark 3; blocks – Lauren Loader 1

SUBVARSITY RESULTS: Marble Falls freshmen lost 16-25 and 9-25; Marble Falls junior varsity lost 17-25 and 13-25.

RECORDS: Marble Falls is 4-18 overall and 0-5 in District 25-5A; Dripping Springs is 30-6 overall, 5-0 in district.
