Doug Allen Merritt, 56, passed away Sept. 3, 2014. He was a longtime resident of Bertram, Texas.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Irene Merritt.
Doug is survived by his father, Dale R. Merritt; stepmother, Harriet Merritt; and brothers and sisters, Dale E. Merritt, Daniel L. Merritt, Denise E. Merritt, Darwin R. Merritt, David C. Merritt, Diana L. Merritt-Salveggio and Delisa Ray.
