OBITUARY: Robert Michael Jackson, 55, formerly of Burnet dies Aug. 29, 2014

Robert Michael Jackson, 55, of Dale and formerly of Burnet died Aug. 29, 2014, in a motorcycle accident. He was born Dec. 14, 1958, in Inglewood, Calif., to Bob J. and Denise Shuler Jackson.
Robert moved from Winnebago, Ill., to Burnet in 1990 to raise his three sons. He designed, built and operated multiple high-technology chemical-manufacturing plants, including ADCS in Burnet, and distributed industrial chemicals around the world.
Robert loved his friends and family and was known to help anybody at anytime. He very much loved Texas, his Harley and his dog, Reno.
Robert is survived by his son Eric Ryan Jackson (daughter-in-law Carissa Grace James) of Dale; parents Bob and Corina Rios Jackson of Pecatonica, Ill., and Denise and David Kushner of Los Angeles; sister Michelle J. Jackson of Winfield, Ill.; brother, Steven P. Jackson (Nova Candice Jackson) of Burnet; and sisters Maria-Christina Jackson of Madison, Wis. and Dr. Tamara Jackson-Zeiter (Dr. Daniel Zeiter and son, Oliver) of Ancaster, Canada. He is also survived by his sons’ mother, Kimberly Kirby Jackson.
Robert was preceded in death by his sons Jason McCaslin Jackson and Thomas Gene Jackson.
A visitation for family and friends is 6-8 p.m. Sept. 3 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 Texas 29 East in Burnet, (512) 756-2222. A funeral service is 10 a.m. Sept. 4 the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.
