Flora Kathleen Holik, 89, of Marble Falls passed away Aug. 27, 2014. She was born Sept. 22, 1924, in Marion County, Mississippi, to Morris Baughman and Olive Henrietta Foxworth.

Kathleen grew up in Sandy Hook, Miss., and after school worked for the Civil Service during the war. In 1946, she moved to Houston, where she met and married her husband, Willie Anton Holik. They lived in Houston until 2000, when they moved to Marble Falls.

She was active in her church in Houston and enjoyed cooking and sewing.

Kathleen is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Billy and Sandra Holik of Houston and daughter and son-in-law Karen and Ray Walker of Marble Falls. Also surviving her are her grandchildren, Patsy Smith and husband Steve of Mayfield, Ky., Kendra Patterson and husband Thomas of Spring and Mindy Beaudrie and husband David of Cisco. Kathleen also has five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Anton Holik, and sister, Maudrea McKenzie.

A graveside service and burial for Kathleen is Aug. 30 at Rocky Creek Cemetery in Blanco County.
