OBITUARY: Carolouise Kourt Creacy, 76, of Buchanan Dam dies Aug. 22, 2014

Carolouise “Carol” Kourt Creacy, 76, of Buchanan Dam, Texas, passed away Aug. 22, 2014.
A memorial service is 10:30 a.m. Aug. 27 at Cross and Spurs Cowboy Church in Buchanan Dam with the Rev Johnny Sawyer officiating. A reception will follow.
Carol was born in Pampa, Texas, on June 28, 1938. She graduated from Phillips High School in Phillips. In high school, Carol was an accomplished pianist, playing in the student jazz ensemble and local piano competitions. Later in life, she participated in church worship as a pianist accompanist.
Carol loved tending her flowers, caring for animals and birds. But most of all, she loved caring for her family.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence “Cal” Creacy; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Jill Creacy of Memphis, Tenn.; daughter, Benita Creacy of Centennial, Colo.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Sarah, Jake and Jonah Ryan, all of Amherst, Va., Matt, Nicole, Thayne and Judah Creacy, all of London, Kelsey Scantland of Atlanta, Jessica and David Dugas of Irving, Dan Scantland of Atlanta and Ali Scantland of Fort Collins, Colo. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Llano Christian Academy.
