Cooper Ray DeSpain was born May 31, 2005, and passed away Aug. 8, 2014.

He is survived by his parents, David and Trenton DeSpain; grandparents George and Modena DeSpain, Carl and Pam Ray, and B.J. James; and his siblings, Trey McEntire, Cade DeSpain, Dillon DeSpain, Samantha McEntire and Miranda McEntire. He’s also survived by countless other relatives and friends.

Cooper was preceded in his death by his cousins Christopher and Brooklyn.

Cooper was born and raised in Marble Falls and was constantly surrounded by friends and family. He attended Colt Elementary School and was involved in youth activities at Lake Shores Church in Marble Falls.

Although his life was short, he will leave a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to get to know him. His infectious smile and witty sense of humor will be long remembered.

A visitation and viewing is 6-8 p.m. Aug. 11 at the Smithwick Church of Christ, 10804 RR 1431 East. A funeral service is 4 p.m. Aug. 12 at First Baptist Church, 501 12th St. in Marble Falls. Interment will follow at Smithwick Cemetery.

John 14: 1-4 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.”
