OBITUARY: Sharon Anne Cook, 71, of Marble Falls dies June 24, 2014

Sharon Anne Cook, 71, passed away June 24, 2014. She was born in Alameda, Calif., and became a resident of Marble Falls in 1978.
She was a wife, mother and friend to all.
She was a hairstylist by trade and owned a salon in Horseshoe Bay, Texas, in the 1980s. She raised her children in the area and was an active member of her community and church.
After retirement, she filled her time with knitting/crocheting with the local group Hooked on Threads and was known for baking sweet treats and making her own jams, which she loved to share with friends.
She had a passion for travel and good books and was an excellent seamstress and a proud Yorkie owner.
She is survived by her mother, Bernice Clarke, and her husband of 30 years, Ronald Cook. Other survivors include daughters, Tani Ross and Shannon Cook; stepson, Rick Cook; brother, Richard Clarke; grandson, Christopher Ross; great-granddaughter, Caeleigh Ross; niece, Sara Sanders; and nephew, Graham Clarke.
A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Marble Falls on Saturday, July 19, at 1 p.m. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life.
