OBITUARY: Johnnie Dee Reed, 64, of Llano dies June 24, 2014
Johnnie Dee Reed passed away June 24, 2014, at the age of 64. He was born Aug. 12, 1949, to John Reed and Freddie Hinson in Austin.
Johnnie was a resident of Llano for six years, coming from Liberty Hill. He served in the U.S. Army for 22 years and attended the Church Christ of Llano.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, John Douglas Reed; and daughter Virginia Lee “Ginny” Reed.
Survivors include daughter Brandy Ballesteros of Bertram; brother, Allen Reed; sister, Barbara Nell Cope of Leander; and two grandchildren, Breanna and Alexus.
A memorial service is 3 p.m. June 28 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300, with Chaplain Harvey Klee officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Legion in Llano.
