Bonnie Letrice (Hanna) McLain, 91, passed away June 9, 2014. She was born Aug. 3, 1922, to Allie (Mullins) and Joseph Hanna in Lockney, Texas.

She married C.T. McLain on Sept. 11, 1940, in Lubbock. Bonnie was of the Methodist faith and a member of Highland Lakes United Methodist Church in Buchanan Dam.

She is survived by sons, Travis McLain and wife Bonnie of Georgetown, Ronnie McLain and wife Brenda of Ruidoso, N.M., and Timothy McLain of Round Rock; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, C.T. McLain; parents, Allie and Joseph Hanna; two brothers, Everett and Edwin Hanna; and two sisters, Dollie Sweat and Emma Lou Newman.

A funeral services was June 14 at Highland Lakes United Methodist Church in Buchanan Dam with the Rev. David Park. Pallbearers were John McLain, David McLain, Roger McLain, Clarence McLain, Douglass McLain and Nathan Roberson. Entombment followed at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.
