Patsy Ann “Auntie” Longmore, 81, of Marble Falls went home to be with the Lord on June 8, 2014. She was born March 11, 1933, in Petersburg, Texas, to E.R. and Ida (McDaniel) Young.

Aunt Pat was a homemaker and, most of all, loved her arts and crafts. She made beaded jewelry for everyone she met. She would take her fine works to festivals and set up her own booth and loved engaging in conversation on something new to make! And if there was anything you wanted built, she could do that. For example: When you can rebuild a house into an apartment, you can build anything, and the great thing about that she loved the challenge.

Her other passion was when she was on a bowling league. She had a blast and said this was a good way to stay in shape. When the bowling arm wanted to retire, she took up Bingo and more arts and crafts.

Our Aunt Pat was truly a gift from God with all of her talent and charm, that beautiful smile and laugh you couldn’t help falling in love with her.

Survivors include niece Pat Gibbons of Marble Falls; nephew Robert Millican of Marble Falls; nephew Roger Millican of Springtown; nephew Patrick Sheahan and wife Susie of Maumee, Ohio; sister-in-law Nora Sheahan of Hudson, Mich.; and, most of all, her best friends, Charlie and Martha Goldsmith, always there when she needed them; friend Joy Rushing, with whom shared the same birthday; and all the great friends from her bowling league.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and the love of her life, husband James Edward Longmore (January 1980) — “United once again.”

We love you Auntie, R.I.P.!
