MARBLE FALLS — Fans of the the PBS show “The Daytripper” may have noticed Chet Garner and crew around Marble Falls.
After five seasons of the show, Garner said he’s bringing a Marble Falls episode to air for Season 6 sometime in October.
“The Daytripper” has been all over the Hill Country, but not yet to Marble Falls.
“It’s about time we’re doing a Marble Falls episode,” Garner said inside the Blue Bonnet Cafe on U.S. 281. “It’s been a long time coming.”
The show airs PBS stations across Texas and in 12 other states.
For the Marble Falls episode, Garner visited the Dan Pogue art gallery, Hidden Falls Adventure Park, the Blue Bonnet Cafe, R-Bar & Grill and Double Horn Brewing Co.
Garner said he also spent some time paddle boarding on Lake Marble Falls and going hang-gliding.
The show is known for highlighting the food, culture and outdoor activities of cities, towns and communities across Texas with an injection of Garner’s humor.
