Marble Falls soccer players honored at awards ceremony

MARBLE FALLS — The Marble Falls High School soccer programs were honored during the annual awards ceremony April 22.

Coaches announced members of the all-District 51-4A team and handed out individual team awards and certificates of participation.

DISTRICT 51–4A MOST VALUABLE PLAYERS: (Boys) Midfielder of the Year – Erik Salgado; Defender of the Year – Ali Salinas. (Girls) Defender of the Year – Shelbi Wyatt; Newcomer of the Year – Emma Sharp

ALL-DISTRICT TEAM: (Boys) first team – Salgado (unanimous), Salinas (unanimous), Chance Daniels, Nick Cano, Irvin Martinez; second team – Asir Riojas, Jimmy Fermin, Carlos Campos; honorable Mention – Jesse Arreguin, Chava Salazar, Gavino Tinajera.
