Jinx Blank, 55, of Burnet passed away April 22, 2014. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to John Benedict Blank II and Margaret Blank.

Jinx loved his family and granddaughter, being outside and roping, and being with his dog Booger.  He loved helping people. “Rain or shine he was always there for everyone.” Jinx always had a smile on his face and was the life of the party. He operated Lucky’s Well business for 20 years.

He is survived by his dog Booger; daughter Whitney Williams and granddaughter Avery Williams, both of Burnet; sisters Katherine Blank of California, Patti and husband Shawn Padilla of New Mexico and Susan and husband Jon Arnett of El Paso; and brothers Clayton Blank of Albuquerque, and Joseph Blank of Ohio.

Jinx is also survived by his faithful well crew and loving family, Jill and Tommy Riley, Martin and Debbie Riley, Quint Riley, Jess, Cade, Carolyn, Laurie, Ginger and Ty Riley, Hailey, “Bug,” Britney, Kirstyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Benedict Blank II and Margaret Blank; sisters Joni Blank and Sandra Blank; brothers Stuart Blank and Steven Blank; and niece Joni Arnett.

A memorial service is 1 p.m. April 24 at Hill Country Fellowship in Burnet with Pastor Rodney McGee officiating.
