Eight Marble Falls basketball players make all-district teams
MARBLE FALLS — Basketball coaches of District 25-4A released their all-district selections now that all teams have been eliminated from the playoffs.
All five Lady Mustangs starters and three Mustangs starters were chosen to represent Marble Falls.
The awards ceremony is 6:30 p.m. March 3 at the Marble Falls High School auditorium, 2101 Mustang Drive.
FIRST TEAM: Boys – junior post Danny Rivara; girls – senior guard Sarah Stripling.
SECOND TEAM: Boys – senior guard Zuri Buchanan; girls – senior guard Blanca Fonseca, sophomore post Reann Hall
HONORABLE MENTION: Boys – senior forward Ben Stripling; girls – senior forward Haley Stephens, senior post Teagan Hall.
ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT: Girls – Emily Klingsporn, Hanna Wall, Aspen Woerner, R. Hall, Stephens, Stripling, Fonseca
