LA GRANGE — The Marble Falls High School softball team was 4-2 at the La Grange Tournament on Feb. 20-22.

The Lady Mustangs defeated Sealy 9-5, Columbus 8-3, Victoria East 11-0 and Georgetown 2-1 but lost to La Grange 5-4 and Huffman Hargraves 4-2.

Marble Falls averaged three errors per game and did not suffer an error against Victoria East.

“We are on a little roller coaster right now with our hitting and defense,” Marble Falls head coach Chelsey Heller said. “I feel like the games that we have lost, we have beaten ourselves. We should have it all pulled together after this weekend and to be ready for Leander on (Feb. 25) and another big tournament this weekend.”
