Lenora Levensailor, a lifetime resident of Llano, passed away peacefully Feb. 11, 2014, at the age of 86. She was born April 12, 1927, in Gillespie County to George W. and Atlanta Pearl (Stewart) Wisdom.

Lenora married Boss Stephen Levensailor on Feb. 25, 1980, in Llano.

She enjoyed fishing and gardening and was a cosmetologist for 55 years. She loved her family deeply.

Lenora was preceded in death by her husband, Boss Stephen Levensailor in 1999; her parents; one son; one granddaughter; one son-in-law; six brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include son William and wife Pam Bigger of Llano; daughters Linda Tow, Patricia Slaughter, Deborah Adams, Donna and husband Dorman Koerner and Lorilea and husband Dudley Wenzel, all of Llano, and Mary Bell and husband Bobby Riley of Burnet.

Lenora also was survived by 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and great friends.

A graveside service was Feb. 13 at Llano City Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Vandeventer officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cherokee Children’s Home or to a charity of your choice.
