Burnet baseball, new coach start season with win vs. Fredericksburg

BURNET — The Jose Sierra era of Burnet High School baseball began with a 6-1 win against Fredericksburg on Feb. 17.
“We played well across the board: defensively, offensively, and pitching looked great,” the new head coach said. “I feel like our team stood out the most in our situational hitting.”

QUOTABLE: “It was an awesome experience to be able to share my first head coaching victory with this incredible group of young men and a great coaching staff,” Bulldogs head coach Jose Sierra said.
