Marble Falls ISD holding academic performance public hearing Feb. 17

FROM STAFF REPORTS

MARBLE FALLS — Marble Falls school district parents and community members can get a look at the latest state academic performance report during a Feb. 17 public hearing.

Marble Falls Independent School District officials are holding the Texas Academic Performance Reports Public Hearing at 6 p.m. during the regular board meeting in the community meeting room, 1800 Colt Circle.

The report was formerly known as the Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) report, but, because of legislative changes, it now is the TAPR. The report compiles a wide range of information on student performance as well as schools and the district.

The TAPR covers current state testing and attendance as well as data on criminal or violent disciplinary incidents.

The report also covers information on staff, programs and demographics for each school and the district.

After the presentation, the data will be available at each MFISD campus, district offices and the district website.

Go to mfisd.ss3.sharpschool.com for more information or to view the report.
