Llano, Burnet football players make academic all-state team

BURNET — Several Burnet and Llano high school football players were named to the Class 3A academic all-state team.

“This honor goes out to those students who excel in the classroom as well as the playing field,” Burnet head coach Kurt Jones said. “We are proud of these young men.”

FIRST TEAM: Llano – Caleb Penny, Layton Rabb, Eli Tiffin

SECOND TEAM: Burnet – Trenton Hafley, Derek Kiser; Llano – Tyler Stiles, Gilberto Arrendono

HONORABLE MENTION: Burnet – Austin Huff; Llano – Sawyer Stiles
