Liberty Hill uses third quarter to eclipse Marble Falls boys

LIBERTY HILL — The Marble Falls High School boys basketball team lost 49-42 to Liberty Hill on Dec. 20.
The teams were tied at 14 after the first period. Marble Falls (5-11) took a 23-15 lead at the half.
But the Panthers outscored the Mustangs 19-12 in the third period, leading to the outcome.
“They got hot, and (we were) in foul trouble,” Marble Falls head coach Neil Laminack said. “I think we learned that you have to want to win all the time, not just in crunch time. That means preparing to win.”
